No deal: University of Newcastle and unions stall in salary negotiations

University of Newcastle vice-chancellor Professor Alex Zelinsky advised staff on Tuesday that the university was unable to reach agreement with unions on salaries to help with the economic fallout of the COVID-19 pandemic that has rocked the sector.
