ATN unis call for a 35% flat cap on international students

Universities are deeply split over the federal government’s planned caps on international students, with technology institutions calling on Education Minister Jason Clare to force Group of Eight (Go8) universities to shed about 20,000 international students at a cost to the elite university group of up to $1bn a year.
